ABOUT ME
Kia ora tatou, my name is Megan, known as Meg. I have been working in Museums for the last ten years across New Zealand and England largely in collection care and exhibition development. I am originally from New Zealand, but I was lucky enough to spend a few years living in England. I have an integrative and sympathetic approach to collection management. I have experience working across various object types from taonga Maori, taonga Pasifika, to natural science, art, and archival collections.

I have a passion for cultural heritage in telling untold or forgotten stories by working closely to preserve cultural material through collaborating with source communities, and working towards bringing traditional values into practice to transform museum collections.

I also love being outdoors and travelling, and I am always keen to discover new sites and areas. My blogging is a mixture of what I have worked on over the years, what I have learnt about, or experienced on my journey.

I am open to collaborations in physical or digital spaces.
